As part of my plans for remodelling Crystal's gallery, I'll need to get my hands on some good Brazillian Mahogany of various shapes and sizes. Does anybody know a good timber company who can supply anything from a plank to a square panel about 2' x 1' x 1"?

I'm mainly trying to cost things up at the moment.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks for that!

Re: Robbins Timber

We have a woodyard here in Southampton, used to be a boatyard once upon a time, called Bampton's, they are in Vespasian Road. Don't know if they do mail order but they seem to stock more tropical hardwoods in more shapes and sizes than you can shake a stick at. I've not seen any "dolphin friendly" etc. stickers, so they may not be PC but the wood is good. No web site. Telephone 023 80 223927.
My only connection with them is as a customer for marine ply, teak and mahogany.
