Wood Carving

Anyone know a wood carver in the Kent Area? My timber boat is Part 1 registered but the official number, rather than being carved into the main beam along with the registered tonnage, is engraved onto a brass commissioning log. I would rather like this done properly. Any ideas?

Mine's carved into the plywood bulkhead, if that's an option all you'll need is Letraset and a sharp chisel.
