WNS - A farewell

This month's (August) WNS will be my last. After roughly 20 years of association with MBY - both as a staff member and freelance contributor - I'm moving on to pastures new. Baaa.

So I would like to thank all those who have joined in on what has at times been a 'frank and free' debate. Without your posts there could never have been a WNS. It's been (largely) good fun and I'll miss it - in a funny way.

This is of course an open forum where you are welcome to continue to post WNS puzzles even though you are leaving YBW, I am sure you will be received and respected just as much as you are now

Good luck. WNS skipper may sometimes have descended unnecessarily into a conflict, but the idea was good, and I m sure in the circumstance itself, not everyone would have thought so clearly as they did from the armchair.
