just to say thankyou for your welcome and use of facilities the other day upon our trip for a night and no charge which took us by suprise and all very helpful
i would suggest a trip there as it very quaint and few nice pubs and food was good
drys out there for 3hrs either side of low but that wasnt a prob for us as bilge and we had a pontoon mooring so no worries and club facilities were very clean we got use of a key for anytime access so no problem

No such place. We are Wivenhoe Sailing Club and proud of it. Visitors are always welcome and the beer's not bad either, during our limited opening hours. In any case, we have to justify the contribution to the cost of the refurbished pontoons made on condition that we accept visitors (which had always done anyway).
