This was our first glimpse of the new Magnum at the Princess Factory on Friday. As you can see there's still a few bits and bobs to finish off. Took some piccys and uploaded to my album here if anyone is interested.

How the hell does something that untidy end up looking so beautiful? And yet looking at all that fibreglass and plywood it all looks a bit heath robinson.

A few more weeks before the engines go in which unfortunately means another rather large payment /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Still, she's on schedule for July delivery and I can't wait /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Tremendous, I have done the same with my boat. From a pot of GRP to a beautifil sleek motor yacht; its a great experience.

She looks big; what model is she?

Great boat. Will you keep her in the Torquay? I would be interested in your reasons for whatever location you choose. I keep my boat on the South coast and am constantly wondering whether I should move her to the Med but can't make up my mind and I am always interested in others views.

Yes, keeping her in Torquay, at least for 6 months or so. After the usual new boat issues are sorted, all options are open - Torquay, Antibes and Palma being the most likely choices. They all have their pros and cons - usually revolving around weather, accessability, ability to stay at other marinas etc.
