I have a Garmin 120 GPS installed and have bought an ICOM M506 VHF with AIS receiver.

Has anyone knowledge of how I wire the GPS feed to the M506?

The manual helps, but doesn't cover the meeting of minds of Garmin and ICOM.

In advance - Thanks everyone.

I found the garmin site very helpful when I did a similar job
Complete wiring diagrams and clear functions displayed
It worked for me.

On the principle of "give a man a fish", how about telling us which colour wire is which for both the GPS and radio, from their respective manuals?

Looking at the manuals, the Garmin as usual has a common ground, which should already be wired to the boat's earth/ground terminal (ultimately the -ve battery terminal) in order to get power to the GPS. Pre-supposing this is done, you should now connect the +ve NMEA out wire from the GPS (blue wire) to the +ve NMEA in (yellow wire; Listner A) of the Icom. To complete the circuit connect the NMEA in -ve wire of the Icom (green wire; Listner B) to ground.

Make sure in the 'interface' menu that the Garmin is set to transmit NMEA 0183 v 2.0 as the Icom manual suggests the VHF will not understand earlier versions.
