wiring diagram or help for mercedes om636

Im needing a wiring diagram for a pair of mercedes om636 engines, there is an earth coming from the main block but unconnected at the other end & ive no idea where to put it! there is power getting from the battery to the ignitions but no further. Is it possible it could have been connected to the isolator switch despite diagrams saying otherwise??

If your red (positive) wire goes to your power switch and then on to the positive side of your battery, then the black wire will need to goto your battery negative.

However, there are a few manufacturers around how switch the negative side of the battery.
