hey, i recently discovered that some lovely person has ripped off my masthead transducer wind vane, but hopefully can be reattached and should work again if i can find information to rewire it.
the cable colours are green, black, red and blue, transducer p.c.b pins will need a reference.
if anyone who has a st50+ could have a look and see how it is wired it would save me a lot of money and i would be extremely grateful!!!!

thanks.

I am hoping to be at my boat around 20st Jan (boat is in France but I am going over to check it out) and my ST50 wind instrument head is in the cabin as I took it down at the end of last season. If you do not get a response soon, let me know by 18/19th Jan and when I am over I'll try and see if I can get the info you want.

From your original post, I assume you want the order the coloured wires are connected to the small pins in the plug in part? Not sure how easy it will be to open it up and look but I'll have a go as long as it doesn't involve any damage to the unit.

You're in luck (I hope).

I've been having some problems with my ST50 recently, so I've been down to the boat and sourced the info.

The fixed socket at the top of the mast is a 5-pin job. When looking end-on down the socket holes, starting at 7 o'clock and working clockwise, the colours are Black (7 O'clock), Red (10 O'clock), Green (12 O'clock), Blue (2 O'clock) and Yellow (5 O'clock).

Hope that makes sense.

There are aso a couple of suggestions re fault-finding if/when you get it working again, here

im also in trouble with an st50 masthead unit the wind indicater part got broken off and i need to solder the wires back on to the unit ----there are 4 wires blue red green black and i need to know which order to solder them back on to the unit
