A word for anyone wondering if they should go wireless. I had a WS320 wireless wind fitted back in 2017. It worked perfectly for 5 years and then the battery died as expected. The problem is that I changed the battery and it worked again for a week but when I returned to the boat a few months later it was unpaired. Only way to pair is too bring it down so that had to wait. Six months later I brought it down changed the battery and re paired it. It worked for the next week and I left the boat with the unit showing internal battery 98% charged.
Return a month later and it's un paired again!
I can't send a man up the mast each time I want to go sailing and I suspect despite being in Vaencia which is like the surface of the sun, there is something wrong with the charging circuit.
If I had to choose again I would definitely choose a wired version.
For now I'm going to sail without wind info which is disappointing as I've just upgraded my AP to a NAC2 too take advantage of sailing to true wind angle when off the wind which worked great for the week I could do it.

Grrrrrr....... £££££££££££
