Hi, Looking at buying a Raymarine s100 wireless remote control to operate my autopilot from up on my sundeck. Does anyone know if the signal will pass through fibreglass to the sensor in the inside helm position?

I have found it good to at least 10m anywhere on the boat.

Make sure it is installed properly, my previous boat had remote on thrusters, absolute rubbish, new boat , same system works like a dream.

I had one of these. Yes it will pass thru GRP wheelhouse roof. (It has a signal strength indicator, like a mobile phone)
