hi all
is there a basic guide to assist in installing cockpit toys? is there a connector block which will allow you to say plug in the radio gps/plotter /fishfinder etc without having to cut cables and use plastic connectors on a bar ?
look forward to your answers
regards
julian

I rather wish I had added another distribution board for the electronics like the fused one for the main electrics but without fuses ie maintaining the inline ones.
Certainly would have made it less of a cats cradle! Cable ties can only do so much and tying the transducer cables with the VHF coax isn't advised............
Now I am looking at Navtex, radar and a DSC controller I still might 'start again'.

No. Generally, for both power and NMEA connections, you have to make your own with terminal blocks and crimp connectors.

Be careful with the NMEA connections as different manufacturers use different colour codes. Generally they are greens, yellows, whites, but used in different ways by different manufacturers
