Hello Bob, I foolishly didn't check a mousing line recently for security when wanting to replace my whisker pole uphaul, I ended up getting a rigger to go up in a bosuns chair to lower down a weighted mousing line and the weight at the bottom did not appear to want to exit the mast, however, on releasing the tension on other halyards and internal ropes, with a short length of wire with a hooked end he deftly pulled it through. perhaps you could do the same or similar. I must admit I was most impressed with the rigger's whole approach, the whole action, up the mast with me winching the slack both ways and his threading etc. only took around 20 minutes, I was most impressed and really didn't mind his hourly charge with a little extra for his mileage! Cheers, Kevin

They are looking at it on Tuesday.
Mel mentioned they might need to drill off gooseneck first then go from there.
