Wintering Canaries 05/06

My 72 year old mother in law will be visiting for xmas and new year, so I will need to book a marina!! I would appreciate recommendations for a marina in the Canaries. If you could supply any marina contact details that would be very much appreciated. Are there any I should avoid? Are there many liveaboard in the Canaries? Lots of live aboards in every marina we visited, many leave before Christmas heading West but there are still plenty there over Christmas and New year and later.

We liked the one on Gomera, San Sebastian. Quiet, nice town and lovely island, easy to get to for visitors as the fast cat arrives in the same harbour from Tenerrife. The other main town marinas are also nice like Santa Cruz in Tenerife.

Space wasn't a problem but we arrived in mid December when most people had already left on their atlantic circuits.
