Looking at the boat yard shop this weekend the choice and cost of cleaning products is unbelievable.

I remember from this site last year a recipe for cleaning top sides , there was wall paper paste and an acid available from the chemist?

Sorry for asking again but can anyone remember?

Sounds like oxalic acid, try a search on the forum as there has been plenty of posts on the subject. I think the wall paper paste was just to thicken it and prevent excesive running.
