Standing on Gravesend West Pier waiting to be allowed aboard the MV POCOHONTAS was a "envigorating" experience.
Just under 100 RCC club members coughed up for a chance to see the lights of London complete with a buffet and bar.
Not sure just how many ventured outside to look at the sights but many left the warm to take a few photos of the stunning views around West India Dock and around Tower Bridge and the "Pool".
Started off at a real pace until the tide turned, turned around at Westminster for the trek back.
Bit touch and go due to the weather fronts hitting the west coast but night turned out crisp and clear.
Club back up to visit WID over Bank Holiday (to cold for Burnham )and poss bringing a boat back from PH to civilization over Valentines weekend ?
Ps.Old people seem to like overloud discos
