Hi All,
It is not often one is able to replace or repair something on a yacht without encountering "Murphys Law" along the way, but today was so smooth I had to laugh, for something so important. I could not believe it, so happy with the ease in which the repair was carried out I thought I would share my experience with ybw.com
The task: Replace the directional feather as the other had broken away on the ST50 Wind transducer at the top of the mast (seagulls!!). Armed with tools and WD40 as it had not been removed in 10 years I went up there and after a quick inspection unscrewed the wind instrument and thought "surely not this easy", once we had done the repair and put it back up again I couldn't believe it. A rare delight!
Another Repair off the list.
