Winter sailing

I'm just back from a short sail with two friends, from Ramsgate to Lowestoft. What superb sailing. Superb weather, great sailing, no crowds and accommodation at all marinas. It was truly so good that we three wondered why nobody else was out taking advantage of the good conditions. In the time we were out we saw only two other pairs of sails... and that wasoff Harwich.

Are there many other brave souls out there?

Any one looking for a week in a wooden yacht in mid Feb to come up the English east coast to Edinburgh?

Yes, there are some great sailing days all the year round. Why not put some photos of your boat on here ... you won't find a better audience for a wooden boat.
