Looking for some advice on where to lay up this winter. The boat will preferably be in Sweden, near Stockholm for ease of UK access or the German coast line. Warnemunde looked good. What do I need to look for in terms of location, protection etc. Also what can I expect to have to pay (13m)
Many thanks

You could try here

Bullandö Marina

or here:

Pampas Marina

However, Stockholm area does not have many commercial marinas. Most are clubs who do require you to have a residence i Sweden to be a member. Also I would think Germany should be far cheaper. Not trying to discourage, alas, Stockholm is a very nice sailing area. Not so good for wintering though.

For six months storage inside a nice modern shed I paid £434 last year. Outside storage would have been only £218 - only about £36 a month! That's for a 10m yacht at a small commercial marina near Greifswald, free use of electricity is included. Somewhere in the centre of town might have cost I guess about 30% or so more.

Add to that cost of lifting in/out (about £70 each way) and hire of cradle (not much).
