We used Portosin, about 7 years ago, very good (marina, perfect shelter, and cheaper than here). a friend has just been in Vigo marina for two years, and also has good reports.

Heres the link to the Marina

Marina de Lagos

and if you click on the red link under my signature you can see what goes on down there. Its a super community - just like a village. Only disadvantage is you just darent have an affair...... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I was in Zumaia the winter before last and it was good and very cheap also the yard. Last winter I was in Lagoa (Vigo) which was also very good and the yard was excellent, solved a noise problem on my engine which I had had for 3 years.

I'll second Portosin and Villagarcia. Villagarcia is the bigger town with more immediately accessible transport, buses, trains etc. Portosin has a very friendly club with an excellent restaurant above . . . but then Chocolat, one of the best restaurants in Galicia, is only a couple of KM south of Villagarcia . . .

Detail about the area on my website
