Had a great weekend away with a few forum members at Cowes , funny how we seem to do just as much in the winter as the summer :encouragement:

I agree winter boating can be brilliant... we try to use the boat as much as possible, even if it's just for a beer or two and watch the telly

It was actually very pleasant out there on Sunday , last years trip organised by Henryf was absolutely freeeeezinngg .

Yep great weekend, weather was even better on Monday no wind sunny and the Solent as flat as a witches t?t, thanks for posting your pictures ,some of Lorraine ,s came out some did,t have not had time to sort through then ,

Thanks for the photo Merlyn , its the first one I`ve seen of Sea-esta actually moving with us on the fly . I was impressed how your Squadron runs really level compared to mine and Terry`s boat .

Best bit was the return trip running 3 abreast down the solent without having to dodge one single zig zaggy thing

There was one sail boat that must have had a bit of a second look, untill we all altered course,s yes my boat likes to run with tabs down a touch, thinking of getting the bennet auto trim to save having to find best setting .

Unfortunately couldn't make this one, a combination of Works Christmas dinner and a 25 year art college reunion. Very strange meeting people who you used to spend your whole life with after a 25 year break.
