Started the engines today for the first time since Christmas and water being pumped into engine compartment from behind the engine. Turn off the engines no water. Any ideas? Volvo petrol engines.

Cracked/split exhaust elbow perhaps frozen in the cold, and leaking. Water would pour out when the seawater pump starts it's job.
