hi guys n gals
we are returning to the uk from the Med been away about two years we have a 9mtr catamaran live on board full time with 1 dog n 2 cats prior to leaving we were in tollesbury, then maylandsea. When we lived in essex our home port was good old Brightlingsea when peter was HM some may remember him. We are now looking for somewhere on the east coast where we can stay for the winter, living on board & not expensive. any suggestions welcome, walton marina don't allow livaboards, don't really fancy the Crouch sorry, dont want to offend anyone from there. Further up the coast considerd. many thanks in anticipation. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Morgan Marine have got at least one liveaboard on their pontoons at Brightlingsea. I know they are full for the summer but you should get on for the winter. Only stipulation from English Nature, in order to get planning permission for the pontoons, was that boats were not allowed to move between end of October and end of March.
