Winter berth near Paris

Hi there.
Looking for suggestions on a place to leave our 11.5m motorboat, within about 10 days cruising from Paris, whilst we return to NZ for the Northern winter. Cost effective and secure are the main requirements and probably on a canal as opposed to a river. All suggestions will gratefully received. Thanks Pete and Jane.

Well, the great place is the Arsenal marina in the centre of Paris.
Apart from that, we had a happy stay in Honfleur.

IMO one good place is Rouen, although it is river not canal. About 3 days from Paris. You can either leave your boat afloat in the Port de Plaisance, or ashore at the Lamanage yard nearby. Prices are reasonable and both are very secure. We left our boat there last year and are about to rejoin it to go cruising in the next couple of weeks.
