I left Bosun in Norway last year for a safe and more cost effective laying up. She endured -37 and needed a total hull repaint, new water filters and a sort out of most of the water system joints.

That was good fun and meant meeting a load of smashing people. That was fine for me and SWMBO but Bosun suffered somewhat.

So employing some logic I tried to bring her home. She would get more attention and warmer water and less frost.... wouldn't she?

Well. First I cannot get her home... weather - repairs all done, but building works, Gang Show and white stuff have all worked against getting her down from Peterhead.

I haven't done so well this year so far... even though the Norway-Sweden cruising was a bit good.

Has anyone else found this winter a bit of a boating problem?

It has been a bit strange, but I did manage out on the Forth for a sail on Saturday and Sunday, and went sledging with my bairns on the way home. I suspect your problems would have been more getting to Peterhead by road than coming home by sea in the past couple of weeks.
