How many take part in winter (except when surrounded by ice) sailing ?
What is the depth at Low Water (LW) ? ?To sail all year round I would have to move to a different harbour for the winter. Where I'm based, the entrance channel buoys are removed from mid November to late March. They did try to leave them in once but the water is shallow (2 meters at HW) and a storm wrecked most of the buoys.
About half meter. There's only a 1.5m tidal range! I can get in and out at low water neaps if there isn't much swell. What is the depth at Low Water (LW) ? ?
Once I discovered fibreglass , winter sailing got a lot better
That comes after ? Antifouling finger prints on a dark beer glass iircYou didn’t mean ‘once I discovered Smirnoff’?
We do our maintenance in August, when our waters are invaded by the plebian masses.
