Got it on kindle so can't comment whether hardback or paperback are available either new or secondhand.
Another book about the design and development of specialist bombs, timers, etc. Not as good as
Churchill's ministry of ungentlemanly warfare
but another view, especially the infighting between various departments all who seem to dislike this start up one able to design, develop and build kit in a few months rather years.
Stuart Macrae "ran" the one in the book and it does seem at times all me, me, me though he does acknowledge and mention there without whom possibly nothing would have happened.
