Winner Cobra

Ostensibly a rag and stick merchant, I've got this speed boat cluttering up the drive that I got off a neighbour a couple of years back for buttons. I've only used it a couple of times and it's OK. 25knots +, pulls a skiier well enough.

I believe it's a "Winner Cobra". AQ130/270. Tatty interior. Dunno much about it and I think I'll sell it on. Anybody got any ideas what it's worth and any history would be helpful.

Cheers in advance, KCA

These boats were quality boats of the seventies, but I don't think they have reached classic status quite yet. Trouble with a boat like that for resale is its all in the presentation, Give it a good buff and polish, hoover the carpet and steam clean the engine you might get £1500-£2000 (As long as its a barmy summer day on the banks of Windermere) BUT if the boats looking groty on a wet November weekend in Barnsley then you would be lucky to get £100 for it. Good luck

Thanks for the info; Looks like one of my mates is interested which means that I get the money, the space... and still get to use it!!

ps yup it runs, has trailer, skis, ski pole, cover, anchor, GPS, flares, nav lights, lecy bilge pump, fenders, lifty outboard brackety thingy... Just grotty seats.
