Wine merchants in Saint Malo

Summer cruise time. Normally I stock up on wine in Cherbourg or Saint-Vaast, but this year I want to pick up a few cases in Saint Malo. I'll probably be in Bas Sablons marina (because it is free for me with Passeport Escales). So, wine merchants either "intra-muros" or in Saint Servan would be ideal. Too much to carry, so I need someone who will deliver to the boat same day, as I may not be staying for 48 hours.

I've done a quick Google search, which has brought up a handful of caves in those locations, and at least one of them mentions 48hr home delivery, but (before I resort to ringing them) does anyone know whether any of them are as well set up for same day delivery to the boat as some of the merchants are in Cherbourg?

Telephone them and ask. I am sure if the order is significant they will find the means of satisfying you. You will always find someone who will speak English.

Alternativeley most super- or hypermakets have a perfectly adequate selection and they often deliver.

I am alaways a bit dubious about buying wine in a supermarket in France is a bit of a lottery, sometimes a good place to dump a bad batch or vintage?

Le Moulin A Vins in St Malo is a good specialist with a wide range of Quality and prices, its on the road from the Station towards the hospital/ Barrage de Rance ask them nicely I would have thought they could deliver to pontoon?

In supermarkets wine is bought by a central buying department where they have their experts. Especially in France there is no way that they will try to fob off inferior wine on the French public.
