Windy Weather

Yuck, what a grim few weeks of weather. Gusts of 50kts overnight at Nells Point, lokiing very wet out of the window in the valleys.

It looks like it will be better over the weekend but now getting a little nervous about it clearing up for my trip to Portishead on Saturday. Anyone else planning a trip out over the weekend?

It's going to be all calmed down for Saturday. PCC have a top-of-the-tide race from Portishead so there will be plenty of activity about the time you will be arriving. We'll look out for you.

Latest forecast is looking better, dying off tomorrow morning, and Sunday looks good for a long beat back to Cardiff

Good for a drop in wind speeds. We will be doing damage limitation repairs to the St Pierre Pontoon, they don`t like high winds!

Well the wind did dissapear. Quite windy of Cardiff, but like a millpond off Portishead.
