Hi All,

Sorry for being so quite the past few days, I've got my head down trying to get my Sailing Weather Book finished by the end of February. Whether I can or not remains to be seen!

Certainly seems as if it's going to be extremely windy tomorrow. latest run of the models is hinting at 80 to 90mph gusts possible in west/north Wales and through the Midlands.

If I get time I will try to post a post-mortem of the event and look at what happened, where and why, as this may be useful I think.

Bye for now,
Simon

What about the book or tomorrows storm? Yes to both /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Not really! The storm tomorrow looks severe. latest hints of 90mph gusts, think north Wales is really going to cop it.

Can you explain why I went and put the furling genoa back up then? It was b4 I realised what the forecast was though! Doh!

Can you please include a long term outlook that gives an indication as to how much longer the current repetition of bad weather is likely to last ?

For those of us stuck in the marina for the last 2 months It would be nice to know if there is light at the end of the tunnel.
