WINDY BOATS

Fantastic boats generally accepted as the benchmark for handling in performance boats, I've worked on them all except the Zephyros, and they drive superbly in all sea states.
Well made but thats why they cost a bit more, it won't fall apart on you like its German counterpart.

My boat gets windy on the flybridge sometimes, and occasionally in the sleeping bag after a 'good' night. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As others have said, Windy make great boats. There isn't much to criticise, although if you're tall you'll run out of headroom down below on the Scirocco.

cheers
Jimmy

Hi, I have 3 boats, a SS Camargue in the Costa Brava [directly opposite DavidJ sealine] a SS Portofino34 in Lymington & a Windy 37 Grand Mistral Hardtop in West Wales.
I consider the Windy to be the best of the 3, better built, terrific handing, good bal between accom and cockpit. Only the Camargue with its extra lenght & weight has the edge in certain conditons. Check out the winter storage at Nautic Luis in Ampuriabrava and 'Windy Way' at Berthons, both reflect the success of the make.

Hi Stuart
I watch the 'other side' berths with envy as I squeeze into mine with 10mm to spare each side. Great location though. We were there just a couple of weeks back and had some lovely trips out and even a couple of swims.
Catch up next year hopefully
David
