Whilst not a stinkie, I have to say I liked the look of the Windy 52. Someone I know was demoing them so got an invite to have a wander around.

If I had a spare £750k I'd think about one...

Its a very nice boat, I had one in for some work before we delivered it and then got to deliver it down the coast to the new owner.
It cruises effortlessly at in the high 30's all day and its seakeeping is up to Windy's usual class best. What a drag my job is, next month I get the new Nortech from the states with twin 950 hp V 8's and 140 kts + !!! then in april our Princess 95 arrives. This job is turning out to as good as the one MBY offered me some years ago as a boat journalist.

Just had a look at your website spannerman. I'm afraid I couldn't read any of it, but those 'Minor' boats look rather nice. Any good? What sort of pricing?

Hi Goochie, yes the Minor boats are very nicely made and fitted out, we sell quite a few as they are good all year boats, people here use them to comute to their cabins on the islands, they are not roomy enough for cruising, although the new 31ft has two cabins and can be used for weekending.
They are also used by Fishery and police as they are good work boats, with walk around decks, they are pretty good in the rough too but not as good as a Botnia Targa.
Our prices will bear no relation to UK ones as everything here is expensive, plus we have horsepower tax which is £16 per HP, so £5900 on a new VP D6 370hp!!!
