I need to redesign and rebuild my windshield. Does anyone know where I can buy some DIY windshield framing material -either aluminium or stainless, that I could screw or pop-rivet together - also, what would honorable forum members suggest for plastic - simple perspex or lexan-type plexiglass?
Many thanks.

I had some 20mm solid Oak flooring left over when I had my hall and lounge laid. I looked in my sportsboat one day and thought "great" an Oak floor in the middle of the boat over the fuel tank would look superb and it does. But how do I support it?? Ha got it!!!......Angled stainless or aluminium!

Tried boat manufacturers, chandlers, DIY shops, online etc..
Then I rang around some engineering companies and metal workers. I found a number of them all over the country that supply all sorts of metal in all shapes.

So either do a google search or yell.com or even the good 'ol fashioned finger walk under "Engineering" or "Metal Workers" and I hope you find what you require. As for the glass, I'm afraid I can't help there.
Good luck
