I find the originals on my Sealine 285 a bit ineffective; look like they came from a 1950s Land Rover. I wondered about changing the units for some type used for rear wipers on hatchback/estate cars (as these are single units rather than mechanically coupled twin with one motor). This would provide self parking and potentially also intermittent wipe with appropriate timer/relay added. Anyone any experience of doing this?

Maybe the the hatchback type would be best, the estate ones do 180 deg, which may be too much of an arc for the front windows. Good idea though /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
