I have a windscreen on my Contest and the lower section that joins it to the deck needs replacing. I have emailed Contest but no response yet. Does anyone know of a good manufacturer in or around Portsmouth that might be able to make up some sections?

This is in aluminium with a rubber section behind it. The bits that need replacing are only about 25mm wide but l need a long length for the whole thing so I thought l would take it to a supplier and get them to have a look, but where to go?

Google aluminium sections and you may be able to identify if it is a standard section. Lots of suppliers have images of the sections they offer.

You need to try to find out who made the windscreen, then approach them direct. These sections can be unique. I replaced the corroded mounting rails on my HR352's windscreen, but the parts were easily available from Hallberg-Rassy (whose aftersales service is superb!). By the way, it's not a particularly easy job, two people and a soft rubber mallet are needed.
