I'm lifting out in a few weeks and one of the ongoing jobs i have is the portside window which has mouldy rubber seals/ surrounds. This is a '79 pandora so they were likely the original items. The window has been held steady with gaffa tape for too long now, but on recent inspection it looks like where the outer GRP and inner grp meet is warped so fitting anything there is going to be difficult. Added to this, the local chandler hasn't been able to match the seals with anything currently in production so I'm a bit stuck. The seal clearly pushed the perspex against the outside frame (it now rattles) as well as covering the area where inner lining and outer GRP meet. Has anyone found a clever way to resolve a similar situation, or am I looking at full replacement?
thanks in advance.
