Window bedding tape

Just thought I'd report in on having refitted our aft cabin windows on Wednesday using Scapa bedding tape... I chucked it doewn yesterday and the windows are completely watertight. So much easier than sealant, single sided tape stuck to window, put in place and then screws put in.

BTW it's for the 80's style perspex screwed on the outside of the coachroof type of window...

I use similar stuff for Vega windows. It is a butyl based product that doesnt ever set. Get it in 10 metre rolls and works a treat. I put one strip all around teh fibreglass where the window will fit then another strip on the window frame itself. Simple and works a treat.

Just done mine with sealant.
Will it work on a wood (varnish) coachroof?

caravan shops stock it for about a fiver in different sizes and colours
