I have a 1979 princess 32 and want to replace the grey window beading. having trouble getting the right half moon shaped size.
Any body have any ideas where i should try
I replaced all of the beading on my P38 last year at a cost of £20 and had plenty to spare.
A tip for you if you have not done it before - cut the length 20mm longer than required, fit in the ends of the channel first and loose the surplus in the middle of the run.
This will reduce the shrinkage.
An alternative is to mask the edges of the channel and fill with sikaflex and smooth. When dry, remove tape and trim edges with a sharp blade.
This reduces shrinkage problems but can be a pain to remove should you need access to the screws in the future.
