Windermere marine building plans

Anybody know anything about the proposed expansion at Windermere marina? I'm about to renew my mooring but heard a few "whispers" about building work, asked at the office but only got a red faces and dont knows!

I assume were talking about windermere village. If so building work has been under way for some time and involves waterfront apartments starting at a whopping £400K I beleive. Looks ok can't see it affecting the marina in fact it may well be an improvement.

yes windermere village I'm talking about "phase 2", i'v heard they will be building on the car park from the spin. club towards the exisiting new building, leaving much reduced car park and winter storage, parking could be in the pay and display over the road, this is all local gossip! new build looks great but not sure i want 3 story appmts over looking my berth
