Earlier this year, my good friend George Robinson passed away. George was the designer and manufacturer of the Wind Trakker servo pendulum self steering gear.

This gear not too dissimilar from the Aries steered my boat thousands of blue water miles and took George's Rassy 39 around the Med, It was sold in small numbers during the first decade of this century.

Georges daughter on clearing out his workshop and garage has found boxes of spares for the Wind Trakker and knowing that I had one, contacted me with the offer of free spares and asked if I knew of anybody else with a WindTrakker that might want some.

These consist mainly of Delryn products, bearings, bushes, spacers, sheaves, toothed gears, worm drives, and a few aluminium and stainless parts.

So if anybody out there has a Wind Trakker and need some parts to give it a good service, please PM me and you can have whatever I've got for the cost of the postage.

Hi Otahi
If you are referring to the 100mm diam. white acetal ring gear that adjusts the wind vane,
I have some of those along with the worm that drives it.
If you could Private Message me with your contact details and maybe a phone number,
I would be delighted to give you a spare of any of the parts I have left.

Regards

Hello PlankWalker. Thank you for your prompt reply. I am trying to PM you but experiencing tec problems. Perhaps you could PM me. Regards Otahi.

Hi Otahi,
Powers that be wont let me send you a PM! It may be because you are a new member, I'm loath to give my phone number to the world. I'll ponder the problem for a bit, maybe the moderators can be contacted.
Regards Plank
