Wind scoop for mobos

Hello all, previously we had a raggie and spent several years out in the Caribbean where a wind scoop was invaluable at keeping the yacht cool below. How do we do the same on a mobo?

I was wondering whether there is a product similar to the wind scoop but designed for mobos, ie no halyard required? I have seen something called a breeze booster but I can't find anywhere to buy it in the uk. Has anybody had any experience of using one and can they recommend it? If so where can it be purchased.

I have also seen a product called a port ventilator and would be interested to here if anybody could comment on it and, if any good, where to purchase.

Thanks for your attention.

Annabelle,
If you are moored up just open the fore hatch and leave the aft doors ajar, you will be surprised how much breeze is created.
Alternatively, what about employing a punkawallah?
Mike.

A local business here in the Wirral has recently started manufacturing a very effective windscoop, details of which can be found at www.breezewizard.com. It rotates so that it always points upwind and has been thoroughly tested in the Turkish climate.
