Anyone like to venture an opinion?

Synoptics indicate a low off Ireland but it moves faster there could be some tight Isobars mid channel.

Windguru says West to South West - light to 9kts for Sandown.

Any other weather sites recommended for forcasts?

Quite agree.... never take too much notice if more than 48hrs in advance... you just never know....

Precisely - take this weekend for example - degenerated, in the east at least, from a lovely sunny few days which promised an idyllic trip to France, to rain, rain and more rain from Sat afternoon onwards.

Oh well, I had a few jobs to finish.....
