I've seen a few threads on here talking about inside helm positions, the other day however I saw a wheelhouse boat with the whole package (winches and everything) inside!
I've never seen this before, but it strikes me as an interesting way of ensuring your season lasts a bit longer. Obviously you sacrifice the odd few days of sunshine we have and have to sail from instruments only (as opposed to 'by feel'). But are there many boats like this around?
Searching through the threads, they all seem to have an inside helm for motoring, but I've only ever seen the full package inside once.
Does anyone know of any production boats like this, or was I most likely looking at a customised boat?
