Just bought some condoms for the two main winches!!
Not used them in strong winds nor choppy seas, but so far they seem to work well.
Whilst they are not totally one handed, (seem to need to take the top roll off the winch) they make the winching in of the genoa sheets easier.
I can also tie off the sheet in the runbber groove at the top. Again without stronger winds to complete a test, they do seem to work OK.
