Hello All,
Well, I am new to all this sailing on wobbly water. Done a bit of river sailing. So when my new partner and I get together and talk about buying a sailboat.... Why not I thought. So here we are 2 years on and got the boat. 36 foot steel Breeon. Lovely she is......... and off we go.
Why I ask my self am I sitting in the cockpit and a very odd angle and seem to be letting off one winch and winching in the other side. More he says.... faster... ??
Flipping heck........... irst time on the wbbly type of water and we is in a force 7..apparently.
Not put me off though............... Great fun. BUT I shall have to learn to take the helm I think.......... Looks less work than this winch wench business.
My navigation on the plus side............. was spot on !!

Well done Lori - Mrs Nicho also got fed up with winching etc and having once got hold of the helm, steadfastly refusus to let go of it. Your partner should at least share some of the burden, or, he too will be relegated to deck hand!
