Winch Handle Again!

After my last abortive posting I found an address for Setamar on this site... But it's NBG. Their phone number a London one, is defunct, and their address is near Portsmouth ??
I tried their phone in USA and it was disconnected.
I've now sent two e-mails to their office ( presumably Head) in Germany without response..
Does anyone out there know where I can get a ratchet winch handle to fit my Lewmars? 10" of course. (size does count)

Hmm, I remember your last post but saw that you had obtained(obviously duff) Tel No's etc. so didn't reply. I remember seeing these Setamar winches in Sweden about 3/4 years ago and believed they were Swedish made.
Have you tried Google? search engine - it throws up several references to them, also the German office which presumably you have tried without success - perhaps they are still on holiday?(info@setamar.de)
A shame if they have gone out of business - I was certainly impressed with the products, if a bit pricey.

Another thought - there is a UK company called Halls who make industrial reversible ratchet handles - but made of steel of course and probably not suited to marine use. I'll try and find their no and post it.

Try Frigus...

Not sure what's happening with Setamar, but you might try a dealer called <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.frigus.se>Frigus</A> in Sweden. Probably best to send them an email first ( info@frigus.se ).

Thanks for the prompt advice I'll certainly try Google now...I did look at
Yahoo but only got info on the Setamar "drumless??" winches... I'll do the
rounds of the chandlers at the show next Thursday as well just to see what
I can find out..

Thanks I've looked at the Swedish site not that I can understand it tho!!
The handle is on their price list I've just got to convert it to £s to see if I can afford it !!
