Hi guys, my friend and I [55 and 41 yrs]are looking to sail from Cowes, Portsmouth or Southampton this year to the Canaries .

I saw in 2012 at the Cowes Week festival an advert for Crew hands to help sail to the Canaries a sailing boat . You

would be expected to pay £500 each towards costs and your own return fare by plane or whatever . No experience

needed as a 1 or 2 day intro course would be provided within the £500. My friend and I plus our wives and 1 child each

went on a Bavaria 39 last year around Feteyie bay in Turkey with an hired skipper and that is our total amount of experience.

I went to the cowes Week festival again this year but didn't see anymore ads for this sort of thing . DID I DREAM

this or is there a company that provides this sort of service . It is one of our dreams to do on our bucket list .
