Will_M,

I appreciated your private mail inviting me to buy an engine in response to my request for a info on a good diesel on this forum. Enough so that I replied by private mail to you requesting more info.... No answer, I then sent an email to your presonal address as listed in the private mail.... No answer, I then phoned you at your work, the same company that would sell me the engine and do the installation, you were busy, they took my number and promised a call back, guess what....... Over a week and NO ANSWER... Is this the quality of service I can expect should I have placed an order with you??????

Sorry to air this publicaly, my only defence is that you chose to contact me via this forum and will not respond to all other forms of communication..... I havent tried carrier pigeon or semaphore yet though....

Boaters disease

It seems common to find the speed of service in all things marine to be about the same as an overladen sailing barge in a force 2. But then we do it to escape the rat race don't we? Actually I think I aprove, the service is idiosyncratic but usualy very human.

Re: Builders\' disease

You think this service is bad - try having a house built. By comparison you've had real Rolls Royce service.
