Will these vintage indicators (Plastimo Solent?) ever operate again?

Some time now I am working on repairing my vintage set of Plastimo wind speed and direction indicators. (model year about 1980) I think the model is called "Solent" but do not know for sure. A later modelseries looked the same and was called "Shark". However, the wiring is different in this type.

Unfortunally I do not have any wiring diagram or manual.
By now I reach a point that specific additional information is required. Especially about what happens inside the sensor on the mast - specific for this type of meter.

Is there anyone who can be of help? It would be very appreciated. A wiring diagram, manual or just tips or knowledge how to deal with the wiring of the sensor.

My boat is an albin vega 27 (1971). I sail in the Netherlands.

Regards, Jack

Thanks for your reply.

I should have mentioned in my posting that I already have send a PM to both involved in that specific thread. The thread you mention is the reason that I have posted my own thread, there is very little to find on the internet on this subject.

The French company may be an option.
However, my French is very poor, so I am hoping to find communication in English first prior to asking (bothering) them in English.

Translating into french

You could try 'Google Translate' to translate your enquiry. I used it to translate an enquiry to Lofrans into Italian. I asked them to please reply in English which they did.
