Perhaps someone would like to remind the owner of Whight Panther there is a speed limit on the river? She tried to overtake me on a blind bend just before Caversham lock but failed. Then blasted past at an estimated 6 knots once out of the lock.
After doing so, she slowed down - some people just have to be in the lead...
Then we get to the next lock which is unmanned and they close the gates as we approach, despite being room for us if the boats in there could be bothered to moor better. Then off they go after filling the lock, leaving it full on their departure, despite the EA notices telling boaters to leave locks empty on exit.
Some people just don't care.
Anyway rant over.
Interestingly, for a boat claiming to be a member of the fenders up cruising club, they kept their fenders down the whole time ?
